All items (clothes, electronics, paperwork) have to be placed and sealed in plastic bags and placed in the front (driest) room.
What may initially appear to be refuse sacks are filled with possessions to prevent damage.
Since the flood, the sheer scale of water has destroyed any habitat beneath and creatures are in all rooms.
Every room has to have fly paper.
Mice defecating everywhere. Entire kitchen surfaces have cardboard across them to prevent them from running up the gas pipe behind the stove and all cupboards sealed.

Lighting had to be removed as they were flooded from upstairs.
Since the second flood there has been a population explosion.
Doors no longer close, so plasterboard is used to block the doors and material pushed under gaps in an attempt to try and limit the mice.
The mice eat through anything and everything.
